“The effects of lighting alone on retail sales can rarely be seen since the client is seldom only upgrading the lighting design (emphasis on "design" rather than equipment, the first having a much greater impact on perception and therefor sales). As with all types of projects, lighting and interior architecture (space planning, architectural details and materials) are inseparable, but when wielded skillfully, these have significant potential to increase brand strength, increase the desirability of product and improve the shopper's experience resulting in markedly improved sales.”

“Increased Sales of the specific items they profit from most by highlighting these specific products.”

“If executed correctly, the impact on sales can be significant.”

“It can be hard to track the effects of lighting directly connected to the sale of product since that is not an immediately available piece of information.”

“A well-lighted sale environment should increase foot traffic and sales.”

“If the lighting helps create the environment and tell the story, people will be intrigued and sales will be strong.”

“Lighting must provide good color rendering. If we aim and provide true color to the product sales will increase.”

“Depending on the project it can increase the sales significantly, sometimes even up to 30%”
